Huge thanks to everyone involved in this year’s dodgeball events – we staged a staggering 88 matches, 264 rounds across the 3 sessions. The Finals were very exciting, with all 8 teams playing each other; the standard was incredibly high with some brutal throws and exceptional catching – the speed and intensity were both frightening and awesome to observe.
After 28 matches across 3 pitches, Nazeing 1 triumphed over Little Parndon, with Tanys Dell and Fawbert and Barnard sharing 3rdplace. Thanks again to all the staff and schools for their support and to Luke Hammond and Gill Pardoe for assisting David Stacey in running such an amazing event, with huge participation numbers.
Congratulations to Nazeing, who will go forward to represent Harlow in the Essex County Finals later in the academic year.
The results of the Dodgeball Finals were as follows:
Nazeing - 19 points
Little Parndon – 17 points
Fawbert and Barnard – 15 points
Tanys Dell – 15 points
Holy Cross – 13 points
Henry Moore – 13 points
Nazeing 2 – 11 points
Milwards – 9 points
