Congratulations to the 15 teams of Year 3 and 4 Girls who attended the Festival at Mark Hall Academy on Friday morning. Throughout the 30 matches, all the teams were well-managed by school staff who adapted the numbers to ensure maximum participation. The Girls really enjoyed themselves and there was plenty of football in between lots of cartwheels and smiles. The sportsmanship remains a strength of this event and all the children had a fantastic time.
Thanks to SGO David Stacey, Gill Pardoe and Harry Stacey for refereeing all the matches and to the staff of the schools who continue to support these events which the children love and gain much from. Teams attending were:
Fawbert and Barnard x 4; Henry Moore x 2; Church Langley x 2; Cooks Spinney x 2; Purford Green; Potter Street; St Nicholas; Tanys Dell; and Newhall Primary.
